Dr. Shih-Wei Guo received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from National Chung Hsing University. His research expertise includes Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, Continual Learning, Cybersecurity, and Social Media Analysis. In recent years, his work has focused on persuasion techniques detection in multilingual contexts, as well as phishing and cyberbullying, with a particular emphasis on applying Explainable AI (XAI) to enhance security defenses. In addition to research, he has participated in several interdisciplinary projects covering areas such as smart healthcare and cybersecurity education and training, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence technologies into practical applications. In terms of teaching, he offers courses including “Computer Fundamentals,” “Data Science,” and “E-Commerce Security.” These courses are designed to balance theoretical foundations with hands-on practice, guiding students in exploring problem-driven approaches to innovative solutions. In the future, his research will focus on advancing intelligent cybersecurity and AI technologies, with a particular emphasis on the applications and challenges of Large Language Models (LLMs) in the security domain.
